We are doing a new fundraising idea that doesn’t require selling! The Oneonta High School Alumni Association is collecting new and gently used shoes as a fundraiser. The more shoes we collect, the more money we make. We get paid by the pound and then the company we contracted with turns around and distributes them to 26 developing countries to impoverished people to help lift them out of poverty with microenterprise. We have partnered with Fund2orgs.com for this fundraiser.

We are collecting literally any kind of shoe, any season, any type, any style.

Shoes, cleats, crocs, slippers, flipflops, sneakers, boots, heels, sandals, slides, dress shoes, cowboy boots, flats, loafers, etc. All footwear!   Items must be able to be worn again, and not have any rips or holes. The only thing we don’t take are  rollerskates/blades and ice skates.

There are 4 locations downtown to drop off shoes during their normal business hours or we can do pick ups- call 914-629-6550 to make arrangements.

Please check your closets and share with all your friends!  We need to collect 2500 pairs!

THANK YOU for your help

If you have facebook or other social media I’d love it if you could share the pic I have attached. Please tell everyone you know. We need to spread the word so we can collect as many shoes as we can. Now with all this Covid drama, I’m sure people will be less likely to want to go downtown so if you know about any possible donations and can get them yourself it would be appreciated. At this point Theresa’s is closed for a bit and the others may follow suit.
