Frequently asked questions:

Q: I have never paid dues to the alumni association. Now in my later years I feel the need to connect with my fellow classmates. My class reunion is coming next year. How much do I owe in dues?

A: Your Association counts on dues to keep the organization going.  As alumni you will always be part of OHS. Dues are a voluntary contribution to support our mission. Dues are paid by alumni who feel the need to support what we are doing. There is no such thing as “past dues.” We look to the future. If you have never paid dues, you take the first step by paying for the current year. The next step is to pay for future years.

Q: Where is the membership form?

A:  The form is at the bottom of the “Join Us” page. Click on the blue “Membership Application” link and print the form, fill it out and mail it along with your check.

Q: I paid dues some time ago, my memory is not what it used to be, how can I find out if I am current in my dues?

A:  The last paragraph on the Home page, or first page that comes up, has a blue link “Membership List” click on that, find your class year, and look for your name. If you forgot your name, stay on the computer for a while, someone will yell “_____ are you still on that computer!!?  And No, your name is not "damn it".

Q: My reunion is coming soon. How can I tell if my class is doing something?

A:  There are a few places to check- First, go to the “OHS Forum” page. Click on the Reunion folder and look for a message posted about your class year. If nothing is there, then go to the Class Contact page, find out who your class contact is, and give them a call.

Q: How can I get in touch with some of my classmates?

A: This is one 'safe' way I just found out about.  It is somewhat involved, but then again, what isn't these days.
There is a special message feature on our Forum.  The best way to learn about it is to go to the Forum page, click on Help and scroll down to the part that explains 'messaging.'  Here is a brief description: People who register are given a 'screen name', when they post a message, you will see their regular name and their 'screen name'. Each time you visit the Forum and log in, you will see a line at the top- Hey "your screen name" you have a message.  Click on that line and it will open a message center. There you can read your messages, or send a message. This is only from inside the Forum therefore you don't use your personal emal.
